PVC Stub End

Structure

PVC Stub End is mainly composed of three parts: flange body, sealing gasket and pipe mouth. Among them, the flange body is the main part of the connecting pipe, the sealing gasket is used to ensure the airtightness of the pipe connection, and the pipe mouth is an important part of the connecting pipe.

Difference between PVC Stub End and Flange

1. Different connection

PVC Flange is a part that connects pipes to each other and is connected to the pipe end. PVC Stub End is used for the connection of plastic pipes or composite pipes, etc., with a connecting edge and a connecting joint surface. The connecting edge is provided with a connecting bolt hole, and the connecting joint surface is provided with a sealing ring installation annular groove.

2. Different sealing performance

There are holes on the flanges, bolts are used to connect the two flanges, and gaskets are used to seal the flanges. PVC Stub End uses a new type of ring groove with a sealing ring, making its sealing connection easy and comfortable, with good sealing performance.

Advantages and Disadvantages

Compared with traditional flanges, it has the following advantages:
1. Easier installation: The design of the pipe fitting is more compact, and no additional flanges and nozzles are required during installation, making installation simpler and saving cost and time.
2. Better sealing: The flange and nozzle of the pipe fitting are an integrated design, and its sealing performance is better than that of traditional flanges.
However, it is undeniable that PVC Stub End also has some limitations, such as its limited scope of application, inability to withstand excessive pressure and temperature, and inability to meet the needs of some special industries.
