Flexible Manhole Connection

Manhole Connection fix PE pipes into Concrete chamber walls.  A connector is necessary because, unlike rigid Ductile Iron or Clay pipes, PE pipes are subject to ongoing movement through temperature change and ground settlement. This causes small but constant changes in pipe length. This combined with expansion of the pipe OD as the concrete cures, means there is always a gap between the concrete and the pipe. If a Manhole Connectors is not used, sewage and waste water will continuously leak from the chamber, polluting ground water, leading to erosion and sinkage.

Junrui Polymer Materials manufacture PE100 Electrofusion Sliding Manhole Connection comprising of two components. The Electrofusion spigot end that fuses to the pipe and a socket end that is plastered into the manhole chamber wall.  The spigot features 2 x NBR sealing O-Rings and an expanding hydrophilic sealing ring between the sealing rings.

Corrosion resistance: Flexible Manhole Connection has good chemical stability and corrosion resistance, and can be used in various corrosive media and environments. For example, it can withstand the erosion of media such as acid, alkali, salt, organic matter, grease, etc., showing its excellent corrosion resistance. ‌

Heat resistance: HDPE pipe fittings have good high-temperature resistance and can be used in high-temperature environments of about 80°C. This makes them suitable for high-temperature hot water pipe systems. ‌

Convenient and fast construction: Due to the lightweight HDPE pipe fittings, the installation process is relatively convenient and fast. These pipe fittings can be connected by welding, plug-in, and other methods, and these connection methods can be completed on-site, which greatly improves the construction efficiency. ‌
