Ecentric reducer

Ecentric reducer is a special type of pipe connector. It is different from conventional equal-diameter pipes. Its main feature is that the diameters of the two ends are different. This design gives it unique advantages and application value in the pipeline system.

Main special functions

1. Fluid regulation and control: Due to the different diameters at both ends, the fluid can be diverted or merged in the pipeline system, which plays a key role in regulating flow, controlling flow rate and achieving smooth transition of the pipeline system.

2. Adapt to the connection of different pipe diameters: In the pipeline system, due to the needs of spatial layout or process flow, pipes of different diameters are often required to be connected. Ecentric reducer can adapt to this demand well and achieve smooth transition and connection between different pipe diameters.

The joint has a side port that allows a pipe with a smaller eccentricity to be connected to the central axis, thereby achieving a connection between two pipes.

Ecentric reducer Application

When absorbing water, the water pressure of the suction pipe section decreases, and the gas originally dissolved in the water will be separated. If a concentric reducer is used, these gases cannot be discharged in time, and will accumulate and block at the protrusion, forming air resistance. The water pump will also make noise and the water delivery capacity will be greatly reduced. If the separated gas is discharged in time by the Ecentric reducer, it will not form air resistance. When the pipe diameter itself is not large and the difference between the front and rear pipe diameters is not large, the concentric reducer may be used. The air resistance phenomenon may not be so obvious, and the air pressure change of the self-priming type during the water absorption process is not so large, so the damage is not manifested.

Ecentric reducer is widely used in industrial fields such as petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgy, and electric power. For example,

1. In oil drilling, it is used for the diversion and confluence of oil and gas mixtures;

2. In chemical production, it is used for the connection between different process flows;

3. In the power industry, it is used for the transportation and distribution of steam or liquids.
