Black pvc pipe fittings

Black PVC pipe fittings are made by adding black masterbatch during the production process. The purpose of this practice is to reduce the light transmittance of the pipe fittings, improve the anti-aging and anti-ultraviolet performance of the pipe fittings, and thus extend the service life of the pipe fittings.

Production process

The production of PVC pipe fittings begins with the polymerization of vinyl chloride monomer (VCM) to form polyvinyl chloride resin. This process is usually carried out through a free radical polymerization mechanism under the action of initiators such as peroxides and azo compounds, or under the action of light and heat. The degree of polymerization of polyvinyl chloride resin has a decisive effect on the molecular weight, and molecules that are too large or too small are not conducive to the injection molding process.

During the production process, various additives need to be added to improve the properties of PVC resin, such as stabilizers, lubricants, fillers, and modifiers. Stabilizers are used to prevent PVC from degrading during processing. Common stabilizers include lead salts, calcium zinc stabilizers, organic tin, and rare earth stabilizers. Lubricants are divided into internal lubricants and external lubricants. Their selection should be determined according to specific processing conditions and product requirements. Fillers such as light calcium carbonate are used to reduce costs and improve dimensional stability. Modifiers are used to improve processing performance and the surface quality of products. The most important step in the production of Black PVC pipe fittings is the addition of masterbatch (masterbatch), which is a key step in determining the final color of the pipe fittings.

The production process of PVC pipe fittings includes the steps of mixing, plasticizing, molding, and cooling of raw materials. After the raw materials are mixed, they are plasticized by injection molding machines or other molding equipment, and then the preliminary shape of the pipe fittings is formed. This process may require heating and pressurization to ensure that the PVC material is fully plasticized and forms the required shape of the pipe fittings. Finally, the molded pipe fittings are cooled and shaped to complete the production process.

Features Application

1. Environmentally friendly and non-toxic: PVC pipe fittings can be recycled and reused, and they meet environmental protection requirements.

2. High strength: At room temperature, PVC pipe fittings have higher strength than PE pipe fittings and a higher safety index.

3. Convenient construction: PVC pipe fittings are simple and convenient to install, also through hot melt technology, but no professional training is required.

4. Corrosion resistance and no scaling: PVC pipe fittings are non-toxic, non-corrosive, and non-scaling, and are high-efficiency pipe materials.

Compared with pipe fittings made of other materials, such as HDPE Fittings, Black PVC pipe fittings have unique advantages in strength, construction difficulty, and cost. Black PVC pipe fittings have certain competitiveness in the market due to their excellent performance and relatively low cost, and are widely used in water supply, drainage, chemical industry, industry and other fields.
