Black poly pipe fittings usually refer to pipe fittings made of polyethylene (PE) material, and their outer color is black. This kind of pipe fittings is widely used in various fluid delivery systems, including water supply, drainage, natural gas, etc.
Advantages and applications of black poly pipe fittings
The use of black poly pipe fittings is mainly because black masterbatch, also known as masterbatch, is added during the production process. This practice is mainly to prevent ultraviolet rays from damaging the molecular chain of polyethylene, thereby extending the service life of the pipe fittings. The addition of black masterbatch can not only effectively extend the service life of pipes and fittings, but also make these products more resistant to aging and ultraviolet radiation when used in open-air environments, ensuring that their quality will not be affected by external environmental factors.
Black poly pipe fittings are widely used in various projects due to their good physical properties, including but not limited to urban centralized heating pipelines, oil pipelines, water pipelines in high-cold areas, and industrial pipeline projects. These pipe fittings can work stably in various environments due to the excellent anti-corrosion, insulation, and mechanical properties of their high-density polyethylene shells.
Raw materials
Our Black poly pipe fittings are all made of the latest PE100 and PE100RC raw materials. PE100 and PE100RC are two different types of polyethylene materials, each with specific characteristics and uses.
PE100 fittings: PE100 is a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) fittings with an MRS (hydrostatic strength) value of 10MPa. PE100 fittings are widely used in drainage, gas and other fields, and are famous for their high-pressure-bearing performance. PE100 fittings belong to the higher grade of polyethylene pipe materials. Compared with the five grades of polyethylene pipe materials in the world (PE32, PE40, PE63, PE80, and PE100), PE100 is the highest grade.
PE100RC fittings: PE100RC (Resist Crack) fittings are fittings with excellent resistance to slow crack growth while maintaining the pressure-bearing performance of PE100 pipe materials. This type of pipe fitting is particularly suitable for very harsh conditions and environments, such as when the pipe wall is scratched or subjected to point loads, and the design service life can still reach 100 years. PE100RC pipe fittings inherit the technical advantages of PE100 and can be used for sand-free backfilling of pipelines, renewal of old pipelines, non-excavation installation and rapid pipeline laying technology. Crack-resistant polyethylene material (PE100RC) represents the latest technology and the highest application level of development of polyethylene pipe materials.
In general, PE100 and PE100RC pipe fittings are both polyethylene pipe fittings, but PE100RC has excellent crack growth resistance while maintaining high-pressure performance, and is suitable for more demanding environments and usage conditions.
